S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic bazaar set for Oct. 26
The Annual S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Bazaar will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Parish Center with dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The meal consists of roast beef, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, salads, green beans, rolls and pies. Bazaar doors open at 9 a.m.
Special items
The bazaar features items made by members of the Sewing Circle: Gwen Hayes, Nell Green, Beulah Eblen, Florence Thelen, Mary Beth Marousek, Marlene Feilmeyer, and Win LaMaster. Theresa Sonnatag also worked on the large bazaar quilt, but has recently moved to Des Moines.
The items include a large brown quilt, several flannel lap quilts, fancy pillow cases, embroidered tea towels, aprons, a wide variety of tote bags, tree apron, round 60-inch table cloths, baby quilts, youth and adult handmade caps, small girl dress and boy’s outfit, and sleepers.
