Cass Hospital Auxiliary honors volunteers
The Cass County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary held a general meeting Tuesday noon, June 24, at the United Church of Christ with Bob Boots, president, giving the welcome, “Quip and Quote.”
The Invocation was presented by the Rev. Dick Hohl.
Lunch was served by a committee from the United Church of Christ featuring roast pork, lettuce salad, potatoes, roll, desert and beverages.
RN speaker
Speaker was Leslie Ferguson, RN, who told of the new Vascular Access Ultrasound System in her department at Cass County Memorial Hospital.
The program included the following reports:
Minutes of the October general meeting by Carol Hensley; the treasurer’s report by Maxine Hagen; bookkeepers’ report by Lucy and Gary Newton; Administrative report by Pat Markham; and Human Resources report by Don Johnson.
Business issues
Carol Hensley presented the appreciation and thank-you communications and Janice Rasmussen talked about the Soup and Salad luncheon rate followed by membership dues report by Bob Boots.
Sheryl Jensen, MT (AAB)-Laboratory Department, reported on the I-STAT Blood analysis System-($15,526 total cost, with the Auxiliary board approving $10,000 toward this amount).
