Harris/Sirfus wedding
On June 23, 2007, Marne Harris became the bride of David Sirfus. The ceremony took place at Faith Lutheran Church in Adel. Matron of Honor was Alecia Viera of St. Louis Park, N.M., friend of the bride, and Best Man was Eric Methfessel of Des Moines, friend of the groom. Jr. Bridesmaid was Emma Sirfus and Jr. Groom was Joshua Sirfus; both children of the groom. A dinner reception for 36 was held at Fire Creek in West Des Moines. The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
She is an accounting manager for The Mid-America Group in West Des Moines, and he is the human resource manager for Todd and Sargent Engineering and Construction in Ames. The couple resides in Earlham.
Parents of the bride are Mark and Linda Madison of Adair, and Don Harris and Linda Harms of Anita. The groom’s parents are Les and Jeannine Rousseau of Ankeny and Ed and Mary Jo Sirfus of Norwalk.
