Walnut’s antique road show opens
The annual AMVETs Walnut Antique Show and Walk began Friday, and runs through Father’s Day weekend.
There is no admission charge, or for parking, and the hours are Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Last year between 40,000 and 45,000 people attended along with the 300 plus dealers who made up the show.
“These dealers bring some of the finest antiques to be found. This includes anything from fine antique furniture to primitives, glassware to linens, marbles to quilts, dolls to advertising items, fishing lures to toys, and the list goes on,” organizers said.
The show is advertised nationwide, and draws dealers from half of the states.
